From niche to mainstream: the keys to making BIPV happen today

Building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) are a symbiosis between clean energy generation and design that could turn future buildings into generation hubs, thereby creating new revenue streams while helping cover our net-zero emissions targets.

The ever-improving design and aesthetic diversity of solar panels means our need for solar to play a bigger part of our built environment is now a reality. Buildings that generate their own energy via BIPV have been on the cusp for years, but mainstream success is here thanks to new innovations, improved aesthetics, and continued incremental cost decreases.

This pv magazine Webinar will investigate how BIPV companies and stakeholders such as architects, the construction sector, smart city initiatives and regulations, and more, can work together, to create generating assets from large buildings in urban environments and commercial applications, to residential environments.

Jinko Solar will also present its new Curtain Wall series, an offering set for launch in the Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) region, with customized designs, colors, styles, and power outputs (245W-676W).

Join this pv magazine Webinar to hear from leading BIPV developers, users and architectural technology design experts in a discussion about the building facades of the future that are happening today.
